BIO

Victoria was raised in Coquitlam alongside her older brother, and has always been passionate about reading and writing, which led her to begin a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Professional Communication at the University of Victoria in 2016. While there, she focused her studies on Canadian and British Literature, and tried to find time to read books for pleasure while keeping up with coursework. She also submitted a few pieces of creative writing, and was featured in a couple on-campus publications, as well as WordWorks literary magazine. After graduating in the top 20% of her class in 2020, Victoria returned to the lower mainland and began working with Eteros, where she works closely with everyone in the office to make sure everything runs smoothly. She loves collaborating with a group of likeminded, hard-working people, and appreciates the opportunity to learn new things every day.

Q&A

Do you have any hobbies?
I spend pretty much all of my free time reading. Or sleeping.
What characteristic do you most admire in others?
Tenacity.
What would you most regret not having done by the end of your life?
Written a novel I'm proud of, even if it's terrible and no one reads it.
What movie or novel character do you most identify with?
Nomi Nickel from A Complicated Kindness by Miriam Toews. I'm a lot more responsible and put together than she is (I think), but I relate to way she approaches the positives and negatives of life.
How do you think your coworkers see you?
Overly habitual.
Favourite Sport to play?
Box lacrosse. To me, it's the most exciting game in the world.
